Freshly baked Colombian breads, empanadas, sausage and fried pork belly. Delicious. It's a tiny spot with counter seating, they are super busy most days and provide good service. Prices are reasonable too.
Schmackin empanadas. My aunt brought these home while running errands and I gotta say, I'm impressed. The empanadas don't skimp out on the filling and the hot sauce on the side is incredibly flavorful with a bit of bite without being overwhelmingly spicy. Just how I like it. Can't speak to service or ambiance of the store since I wasn't there but what I ate from the place was great.
Rick Pan Bakery is very busy spot in Woodside. Every morning when I pass by there is a line. They have selection of baked Latin breads with cheese or without, coffees, freshly squeezed orange juice is my favorite it just smells so well and the machine they use is so cool. They have breakfast station that people choose what they want. There is a seating area that you can eat but it's like bar style not table. You can have breakfast on to go or just quick stay. Service is friendly and I like that it's run by a family.
Best Colombian bakery! Plenty of good, and a few great ones in Queens, but this is the best. Everything was fresh, flavorful and perfectly baked. The pan de bono was the perfect density and not dry at all like many places. Service was quick and kind, and the bakery was extremely clean.
I love going to different Colombian bakeries! I've only gone here to pickup something with a friend but never got to eat until yesterday. I decided to get my go to's: Beef empanada, chorizo with potato and a Jugo de lulo. Even though its summer I still got an Avena homemade and warmed up in the microwave. It tasted so good and my mother got beef empanadas, arepa de choclo with cheese and coffee. I loved the food. Wasn't dry, over cooked or undercooked! Next time I will def. try their bread! Colombian bakeries have the best bread well in my opinion! The cashier was attentive and patient and it was quiet in there which helped me enjoy my brunch even more!
If you want classic Colombian breads and pastries, this place doesn't disappoint. I had their arepa choco with cheese, beef empanadas which was mouthwatering, and bunuelos. The bunuelos were probably the most delicious ones I've ever had! Service was great my only complaint is that they are cash only. That's not very convenient. Other than that, I would definitely come back!
I really enjoyed stopping by here for breakfast the other day. The coffee was great, the pastry was fluffy, and the service was friendly. And, my pastry and coffee were only $4.25. Such a deal! It's a cute little shop, and I would be here all the time if I lived nearby.
Been coming to this bakery for years, it's a neighborhood staple. Colombian goods such as empanadas buñuelos pandebonos Colombian coffee bread Milo chicharrón and the list goes on and on. The food is always fresh and the coffee is always delicious. My go to for when I want to bring some Colombian empanadas to any get together. Good service and decent prices.
This has to be the best Colombian bakery in Queens, in my opinion. I've gone here for over a decade and their food is consistent. Their empanadas are the biggest thing here for me: small, yet full of incredible flavor. With their salsa, it's absolutely delicious. Their buñuelos are one of the best as well. I love their bread that's like mini empanadas with guava and cheese. Cash only!
This is such an authentic bakery. I was looking for a quick bite recently and was honestly looking to try an egg sandwich. The menu, is in Spanish, but the staff were accommodating to my lack of understanding Spanish. I inquired regarding huevos (eggs) and they directed me to an egg dish. I decided to inquire what was recommended. Recommended was a cheese baked good and empanadas. For under $5, I was satisfied and the empanadas were incredible. I will have to return sometime soon. Keep in mind that the bakery is cash only.
